His abilities used to be very conditional, in that he could only use them if his subordinates were in the immediate vicinity. Without them, he would be ridiculously clumsy and more than a little inept. Through constant training in the last ten years, he has been able to over come this weakness to an extent, though when he's distracted this weakness resurfaces. •PERSONALITY ☆Dino is a pretty carefree and easy going person for the most part, except when the situation calls for otherwise. He's very observant and intelligent. He cares very much about every member of his family and would willingly give his life for any one of them. He sees Sawada Tsunayoshi, the tenth Boss of the Vongola family as something of a little brother, due to the fact that they were both tutored by Reborn and as such is always very willing to help Tsuna and his training in anyway possible. He is very serious about his duties as a Boss and he will do anything to ensure that his family is sucessful. •APPEARANCE ☆ Dino is slightly taller than average height with a fairly muscular build due to his consistant use of the whip. He has blond hair that reached to his shoulders and golden eyes. His most distinuishing feature and indeed, the one that more people recognize him by, is the sleeve of tattoos on his right arm. The most notable features of the peice being a Bucking Bronco, represntitive of Dino's alias in the mafia underground and the letter 'C' surrounded by a sun, with the word Famiglia on a scroll underneath, representive of his status as a member of the Cavallone family. He usually dresses in an array of casual clothing and is often seen with a leather jacket with a fur lined hood. For official business involving the Cavallone or Vongola families though, he wears the mafia-standard attire of a black suit and tie, ans dress shirt and shoes. •HISTORY ☆ Dino was born into the Cavallone family in Italy on February 4, a family which is closely allied with the Vongola family, once of the most influential mafia families in Italy. Dino is the son of the Cavallone's 9th boss and as such, was the heir apparent when the 9th died. Before he passed, however, Dino's father made it clear that he was to take over the family and aware of his sons reluctance to do so and the fact that Dino was shown to have Zero potential to be a capable boss, he hired a renown hitman, loyal to the Vongola family, Reborn, to tutor Dino so that he could become worthy to be the Cavallone's 10th. While being tutored, Dino also attended a school that was noted for educating a vast number of children from Mafia families, including two members of the Vongola assassination squad, the Varia, Xanxus and Squalo Superbia. Along with his growth as a student of Reborn's, Dino was gifted with the whip that he uses to this day and his pet Enzio, who is a sponge-snapping turtle that can grow to enormous sizes once wet. Only by the water he's absorbed evaporating or drying out will he return to his normal size, sometimes aided by Dino blow-drying him. The fact that Enzio is skilled at escaping from Dino and that Reborn is skilled at stealing Enzio from Dino make the occurrences of Enzio getting wet much more frequent. Because Dino was a former student of Reborn's, he sees Tsuna as his little brother and will go to great lengths to aid in Tsuna's training and consequently the training of Tsuna's family as well. The most notable instance being that he was selected to be the home tutor for Hibari Kyoya before the battle for the Vongola rings commenced, being one of the only people capable of keeping up with the potential Cloud guardian in a fight. |
